| Enamel is a very fine glass powder which when fused in a kiln at 800° C adheres to the metal. The powder is carefully applied to the piece and is allowed to dry completely. Subsequently the piece is put into the kiln for approximately two minutes after which the enamel is fused and adhered to the metal. |
